FOH All Stars Dinner raises $20,000
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival may have international chefs that have audiences fighting for tickets but the headline event for us raised $20,000 for homeless projects.
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival may have international chefs that have audiences fighting for tickets but the headline event for us was packed full of local talent.
Six of Melbournes most outstanding restaurateurs and managers gathered on Sunday night at Oyster Little Bourke to put on an evening to remember, generously donating all proceeds to StreetSmart. Luke Stringer, owner of Oyster Little Bourke, came up with the event to showcase the best in front of house, matching signature dishes from their restaurants with their favourite wines.
The sold out event raised over $20,000, including a charity auction which saw the limited edition All Stars T-shirt get sold off the back of Luke Stringer. It was a great night out. The generosity of the All Stars and their staff, as well as our guests, must have made it the feel good event of the festival.
The Front Of House All Stars were: Chris Young (Jacques Reymond), Simon Denton (Verge), Sean Kierce (Ladro), Luke Stringer( Oyster Little Bourke), Sam Christie (Longrain) and Josh Anlezarc (Ezard).
Thanks to everyone who made this night happen, including the sponsors and suppliers and donors to the auction on the night.
