Book now for a Spice Workshop and Cooking Class at Nirvana Cafe and help the homeless.

The wonderful people at Nirvana Cafe are generously running this workshop helping raise valuable funds for local services.  Thanks to everyone involved for donating their time.  Here are some further details.

Learn to identify the qualities of key spices used in cooking.
Learn how to properly utilize spices to enhance your dishes.
Learn to use SPICES for basic medicinal or beauty purposes.

When: 22.11.09 at 11.30am

COST: $50(donation) + $10 to cover notes and materials

The class is hands on for 2 1/2 hours, first you will be guided in how to make your own spice mixture (GARAM MASALA). Then will be taught  how to  use these in the making lentil, vegetable or potato dishes.

To reserve a place for the Workshop please email or call the Cafe and make a cheque for $50 payable to “StreetSmart Australia” by 19 Nov Thursday. A cancellation policy applies after this date and no refunds are allowed, as the donation to Street Smart would have been made, but you can transfer your place to someone else.
