This is what our participants have said about their involvment

It’s great to know that Mecca Bah, Fortitude valley was able to make a difference in the lives of homeless people within our local community by being a part of the Streetsmart campaign. We have to thank our patrons for their generosity and our staff for getting behind this ingenious campaign where a donation of just $2 per table over a six week period contributes to positive change. The campaign is really easy to run and hopefully more restaurants participate in 2010 as it does create a wonderful energy and a lot of goodwill for the establishment from both diners and employees.” Julian D’Souza Mecca Bah Brisbane.
During the Christmas period, it’s easy to get caught up in the hubbub, especially in hospitality. Streetsmart is not only an opportunity to raise money for an important cause, it also serves as a timely reminder to everyone we touch about the true meaning of the season.” Gavin van Staden, Red Spice Road.
The Löwenbräu Keller is extremely excited to be supporting this worthy cause again in 2010. We are just a small piece of the bigger picture that StreetSmart has successfully painted. Not only is it rewarding as a business, but there’s a great sense of camaraderie within the team that comes from pulling together to support Grass root charities and projects. Small change CAN make a big difference.” Edita Neubauerova, Venue Manager, Löwenbräu Keller.
" we always wanted to give something back to the local community and StreetSmart is the perfect choice as everything goes straight back to exactly where it came from " Matthew, owner Touks.

Our staff and clientele got totally behind it. By simply throwing in an extra $2 on the bill at the end of the meal you can make a massive difference to a homeless person’s life in a positive way.” Sam Christie, Longrain, Sydney / Melbourne.
